Emma is the niece of Julia Roberts, the star of the movie "We Are the Millers", the TV series "Scream Queens" and "American Horror Story": it was she who got the role of Nadia Sheveleva.

Emma Roberts will partner with Thomas Mann, Garrett Hedlund and Britt Robertson. Who will be Lukashin and who will be Hippolyte is still unknown, but in real life Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund together and six months ago just became parents for the first time.
The plot of the remake for the most part will not differ too much from the original: accidentally confusing the cities, on New Year's Eve the main character will find himself far from home and find himself in someone else's apartment - here he will have new love and adventures.
In the American version, "Irony of Fate" turned into About Fate, the suburbs of Boston became the scene of action instead of Moscow and Leningrad, and Stroiteley Street, which so abruptly changed the fate of the heroes of the original film, turned into Maple Avenue (Maple Street).
According to Weisberg, who also became the creative producer of the film, the plot of "Irony of Fate" will be clear to the United States:

Weisberg, known for the franchises "Grandmother of easy virtue" and "Love in the Big City", has great hopes for the success of the project:
However, in Russia, the project already has many critics, among them, for example, Valentina Talyzina - it was she who voiced the main character Nadia performed by Barbara Brylskaya, and also played the episodic role of her friend Vali:
It is interesting that in Russia they have already tried to "restart" "Irony of Fate": in 2007, a continuation of the original version was released, where events unfold many years later. Elizaveta Boyarskaya, Sergei Bezrukov, Konstantin Khabensky, as well as Barbara Brylska and Andrei Myagkov played in that film. Of course, Timur Bekmambetov's sequel failed to repeat the success of Ryazanov's film, which has been associated with the New Year for several generations of Russian moviegoers.
