The streaming service Netflix has acquired the rights to the BRZRKR comic, written by actor Kean Reeves, screenwriter Matt Kindt and artist Ron Garney. This is reported by Deadline.

Reeves will star in the film adaptation of the comic book and will also produce a new film. The actor will also voice the character of the anime series in the BRZRKR universe. The release date for both projects is currently unknown.

In February, it was reported that Sony Pictures had offered Keanu Reeves a role in a new Marvel comic book film. The star of "The Matrix" can play the role of the supervillain Craven the Hunter, whose real name is Sergei Nikolaevich Kravinov. The movie "Craven" directed by JC Chandor will be the spin-off of the new Spider-Man film series.
